Cheshire and North West local businesses attended the Green Pages Annual Awards and Charity Gala Dinner 2016 in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK
The Green Pages connects businesses and individuals based in the Northwest in the health and wellbeing industry. The network is celebrating its 3rd year which has seen rapid expansion across Chester, Liverpool and the Wirral. With its ongoing success and growing membership, came the decision to celebrate and recognize individuals with the Green Awards while at the same time supporting an important charity.
Guests were greeted by wonderful live music from Blues singer Becky Lee.
The Gala event was opened by welcoming speech from Lord Mayor of Chester Cllr Angela Cleydon: “I am pleased to have been invited to open this evening’s event and to celebrate with you an evening of entertainment, achievement and fundraising.”
Followed by dance performance from the Award Winning Bollywood Burnout.
Guests enjoyed a stunning performance by a special guest classical singer Tom Spence, whose career highlights to date have included supporting world renowned classical singer Russell Watson.
Special awareness of Pancreatic Cancer information was shared by the official Pancreatic Cancer UK spokesperson Debbie Wells.

It was such a pleasure to see our members celebrate all their hard work and successes over the last year. Our award winners should be especially congratulated on their achievements and we also would like to say a huge thank you to those who supported the organisation of the event for making it such a fantastic evening. We are delighted to be supporting Pancreatic Cancer UK charity, as every day in the UK, 24 families are given the news that someone they love has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Sarah Bailey, Relationship Manager at NatWest and one of the event sponsors, said: “It was an honour to judge and be a part of the first ever Green Page Business Awards. The awards were a wonderful way to celebrate their successes and achievements, and I congratulate all the winners and nominees".
